Pickups in downtown Toronto can be arranged upon request
7. Liability & Warranties
Warranty details - During your design consultations you will be fully informed about your piece of jewellery and the qualities and or limitations of its materials. Every piece is triple checked for any defects before it gets shipped out. However, due to the nature of handmade work, there are very rare circumstances where something may not be in perfect or pristine condition. Removing your jewellery during heavy activity will help to ensure its integrity. If your piece of jewellery requires repair due to a defect in materials or fabrication, the repair will be done free of charge. If your jewellery has become damaged, or deteriorated over time with normal wear, the repair may be subject to normal repair charges. Ring sizing will be done free of charge up to 2 months after purchase or first wearing. Ring sizing due to weight gain or loss, body changes or switching fingers will be subject to normal alteration charges. If small stones are lost within the first 6 months, they will be replaced free of charge. Losing small stones after 6 months may be subject to normal replacement charges. Refinishing on un-plated items is complimentary within the first 12 months. There is no guarantee on plated items. While every item is plated with a thicker than average layer, every person’s individual chemical makeup and skin reactions can cause different effects on gold plating that are out of our control. We do not insure loss, theft, daily wear-and-tear, and/or possible chipping of stones. Any stone, even a diamond, can be chipped during an accident or if hit against a tough surface. Customers will be responsible for extra shipping costs to and from our studio.
Appraisals can be requested for pieces above $1000 CAD up to 2 weeks before estimated completion or up to 3 months after the piece is delivered. If the client wishes to have their piece appraised after delivery, the piece must come back to the designer for a minimum of 1 week to be valuated by a third party certified appraiser. For any pieces below $1000 CAD, appraisals are $90 CAD plus tax.
8. Intellectual Property
